Final Women in Motorsport display participant named after public wildcard vote

The final participant in the 20-strong Women in Motorsport display, powered by Century Batteries, can finally be revealed as Caitlin Hayward, a speedway competitor currently racing out of Tauranga.

Caitlin emerged victorious after an intense public vote, which saw over 3,600 votes with runner up, rally co-driver Tasha Oakden, finishing a mere seven votes behind.

Ross Prevette, managing director CRC Speedshow says: “To have our final participant decided by such a small amount after such a huge voting process is fantastic, and really shows both Caitlin and Tasha deserve all the recognition they currently get.”
