Well-known automotive and hardware brand CRC is confirmed as the new naming rights sponsor of Speedshow.
The ever-growing automotive event, which runs from 23 to 24 July in 2011, becomes known as CRC Speedshow.
“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome CRC Industries as our major sponsor in 2011,” says Speedshow’s founder and organiser Keith Sharp.
“Speedshow and CRC fit together perfectly – the CRC range of products crosses all automotive genres, as does Speedshow. It’s fantastic to have a major brand like CRC aligned with our event and I think it’s a fantastic endorsement of Speedshow’s strengths, as an established brand in its own right and as an exciting, dynamic annual event.”
CRC Industries’ managing director Murray Walbran comments: “CRC has a long history of involvement in motorsport. This partnership is a continuation of CRC’s support to the motorsport industry in New Zealand. Speedshow is a great vehicle for CRC to communicate to and interact with core motoring enthusiasts.”
Sharp also notes that exhibitor sales have continued at an exceptionally strong pace this year.
“Exhibitors are demonstrating their enthusiasm for the 2011 CRC Speedshow at a phenomenal pace. We have considerably more sites sold now than we did at the same time last year.”
Confirmed exhibitors include some of the biggest names in New Zealand’s automotive sector such as Castrol EDGE, Meguiar’s from the Smits Group, Ford, Mazda, Nissan and Victory Motorcycles.
