The crew from Meguiar’s Car Crazy, aka the Smits Group, are once again helping raise funds for Starship Children’s Health with up to 150 classic cars and hot rods set to cruise to CRC Speedshow on Sunday 22 July.

Working in conjunction with The Rock radio station, charity cruise participants depart from Smits Group headquarters in East Tamaki, Auckland and head to the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane to complete a lap of honour in front the tens of thousands of car fans enjoying the array of displays and live entertainment at the sixth annual celebration of cars, bikes and motorsport.

The show takes place over the weekend of 21 and 22 July where the Smits Group set to join a sold-out line-up of exhibitors.

Smits Group director Darlene Smits says she’s excited to see another spectacular line-up of customs, classics, hot rods and street machines in the Meguiar’s Car Crazy Central display area.

“This is a great opportunity for car fans to see and try new products from our Meguiar’s, Rislone and Peak oil and antifreeze ranges, and find out the best tips from the pros for car care and guidance on new projects. We’re also pleased to have airbrush expert Dean Lovich back with us again this year – he’s so talented and it’s wonderful to watch him at work,” says Smits.

“We’re also shining the spotlight on the House of Kolor with its brand-new Shimrin 2 range of amazing standard and customisable colours. Come and talk to our technicians and try out our live digital paint booth onsite to plan your next big or small project.”

Smits admits their team will be very busy at CRC Speedshow covering all the brands that the Smits Group represents in New Zealand.

“Speedshow is one of our most anticipated events of the year, and to celebrate the way it brings together all the enthusiasts together, we will be giving away a huge list of prizes throughout the weekend.
